A meticulous, transformative process of removing imperfections from an automotive clear-coat. Unlike the competition, we do not limit ourselves to the first few stages of paint correction. From the paint being very rough due to sun oxidation or having multiple-years time worth of paint swirls, we pride ourselves in utilizing cutting-edge techniques to mend any imperfection.
- Light to deep scratches (paint swirls or "cobwebs") that may extend through the painted clear coat and but not passed the base coat and into the primer coat.
- From being owned for numerous years, frequent to constant abrasion, or everyday nicks.
- Constant exposure to UV Rays and other environmental factors such as weathering or environmental fallout.
- Dirt & debris left on the paint surface begin to slowly eat away at the clear coat or other porous materials. This accelerates the process of sun oxidation and lessens resistance to UV Ray penetration.
- Over time, the sun begins to break down the molecules inside of the vehicles clear coat and paint.
- Cause of paint being less reflective to UV Rays and transmitting color (oxidation spots).
- After a period of time, bug splatter or droppings left on the paint surface begin to eat away at the clear coat.
- Insects contain a chemical called uric acid that acts as a corrosive which creates a light grey or white outline. In extreme cases, can chip paint and travel through the base coat.
- Occurs when water droplets are "baked into" the clear coat. Common when washing in hot temperatures.
- In the case of the automotive paint constantly being wet and not dried properly, will begin to settle into clear coat.
- The importance of a level paint surface is integral in ensuring maximum adhesion of any coating, sealant, or applicant.
- Depending on the state of the paint, from enhancing to multi-stage correction, will provide a slickness to the paint surface. This promotes the proper longevity of any coating application life.
